Weathermob - Social Weather Reporting, and Local and Global Weather Reports App Reviews

I have an older device so I cant upgrade and the older version I have doesnt work as well after the new release, so I will probably have to delete. Too bad I was really enjoying this app. Weezoo looks like an interesting replacement.

Really good app but gets my location wrong. Please fix and it will be stellar app!!!

Good weather app plus social camera app

Asked me to access my location pop-up. I said yes. I go to home screen nearby and says unable to find location; to enable GPS. Go to settings. Location services is correct. Back to app. Insists my location is some city in California and I cant seem to change it to Michigan... Deleted!

I havent been able to share to FB for a while now. I have Weathermob set to shre with FB automatically and its not sharing. And even if I select to share and existing post to FB it doesnt share. And yes my FB is set to allow Weathermob access. (Great app otherwise)

If you like weather this is your social app!! I would like to see a iOS 7 version, getting tired of looking at the same layout over and over.

Fun to read reports from weather friends all over the world.

Is pretty good; well knit community. Not able to tie app with twitter, would like to see other associations like Tumblr or Facebook for longer messages.

because I cant log in. It just freezes up and I have to close it.

It doesnt crop my pic properly whenever I upload pics from my photo library and the pic looks horrible. Please fix! Thank you!

This is a really fun Ap. Take a photo, describe the weather, and the Ap does the rest. The only issues that I have had is that it frequently adds four hours to the time of my report.

I dont get the benefit of social weather. Honestly, I just need the forecast.

I have had this app for several years and have really enjoyed using it. Since I got my iPod 5th generation, I cannot sign in with my old user name so I created a new account. I cannot change the date of birth and I cannot upload a user pic. I do think weathermob could really use an update.

Update: July 29 (2015) update does not address inability to add a profile photo for some users. ∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞∞ Nice idea and there are some surprising reports from unexpected geographical zones. Support for WeatherMob is limited to a short faq and a community forum where questions are asked and then ignored. Photos are often misaligned, there are sometimes error messages on upload of photos, etc. but there are no suggestions on how to remedy. Nice idea for an app, but seemingly neglected by the developer.

Why can we NOT add a profile photo?.

Really enjoying it so far. Seems to be accurate with weather forecasting so far, which is really what I wanted. The social aspects are just a bonus.

Great to see the app getting updates; very enjoyable to report and comment.

App uses your location even when not using. Also, there are not many local channels nearby.
