Good!

Good concept but some bugs : - Dont have days name on forecast view - Dont have details hours by hours on forecast view (only 1:00 detail per day) - Dont have time info (posted X hours ago) on report view And some suggestions : - A reminder 1 or 2 times a day to use the app could be usefull. - An iPhone 5 optimisation Thx

On its way to being good

Really great concept - but Im annoyed that when I look for weather updates it shows peoples weather starters from all over the world. I only want to know local weather from people within my city. Hope there is a setting that can be adjusted for local statuses only. Otherwise, annoying to read about weather in Hawaii when Im in Canada!

Beautiful

On to something here. Has become one of my favourite daily apps. Beautiful photographs from around the world.

A favorite

Its like twitter for those of us who rather just stick to the weather! New update makes sorting and reviewing other reports a snap:) Thanks for nurturing my interest in weather and photography with this great ap

Greate and simple

Postal code not accurate in the province of Québec in canada.

Bad

Bad and confusing

Disappointing

Really disappointed that there is no way I can change the temperature to Celsius. The interface seems very clunky to me as well, not easy to do things if I do not have a Facebook or Twitter account.

Awesome graphics! And usability!

Great

Gorgeous pictures & the ability to see the world!!! ☀️

This app has the fun of Instagram, but with a weather twist! I love the way that you can easily see the weather around the world, and how intuitive posting is. Its really fun, and it has a great community -- and I love reading others reports. My only complaint is that there arent enough users! I wish more people had this app. Maybe if Weathermob advertised or freshened up its interface?

Interesting app

I enjoy the app but its got a lot of issues, the biggest issue is a lot of the times the stuff will write incorrectly. For example, I posted a video explaining the current conditions, and instead of it posting the video it wrote that I had a hurricane in my hometown, I do not get hurricanes in my hometown. I do believe it may have posted the video, but if this application is meant to be taken seriously and it cannot be posting fake weather conditions. Not only is that a hazard to those who may end up actually were lying on this application, it is also very irresponsible. This brings me to my next point, the options are dimmed, you cannot change what they have already written, for example if it comes up stating sad tornado, its going to file a report regardless if you sent it to do it or not stating tornado sad and it will have your location, for example it will say I am feeling sad in Phoenix Arizona due to a tornado. Yes, you can write and it will remove that, but the problem is if you dont write and you just post a video its going to Right fake conditions. It also does not push notifications to you when someone comments or likes or shares of one of your posts, however let me say there are some pleasant things with this application. I like the social aspect of it, you can post photos however this brings me to another negative point, it will not always post your photos and or videos rather it be shot from the application itself, or taken from your library. Yes the social interaction is great, I like the fact that people who enjoy weather can come and work together to make a better well-informed community. When trying to contact the developers through their webpage I got a message saying sorry we are currently down for maintenance, this tells me that their webpage is not the worlds best layout either. There are also some unlabeled buttons on the application when it comes to screen reading technology, I dont know what a couple of the buttons are however, I can work around and actually managed to use the app but we do have some issues with excess ability. The concept is great, but we need a lot more work on the implementation of the software, I rate this a three out of five stars because if you can get this implemented correctly the ramifications will be huge. You will have a large community all focused around the weather and safety, you will have a group of dedicated enthusiasts who enjoy nature, youll be able to get a large group of people of all walks of life and ages to join around the corner topic of weather. It will inform the world and keep the world as a global community more informed about the weather around the world. Yes, the concept is fantastic the implementation need some work, I love the system however I cannot read this a five out of five stars due to the huge gaping problems I see with this application. There are too many safety issues I see with this app, just the fact that you cannot change the current weather conditions without writing something is a big safety concern. The other issue the fact of the matter is your content will not always upload regardless if you were on data and or Wi-Fi, what if its a tornado and you needed to inform your group of people, your service is up but whether mob is down, or it is not excepting your house. How then are you going to work and help the community. I also apologize, I am using dictation to write this review this said however, I am willing to work with the Weathermob people if they are willing to work with me, I tried contacting them through their webpage because I did not want to take this route, but after I saw what it was posting on my Twitter page I cannot use the app in good conscience. I cannot let people think that there is a tornado or hurricane in my area, I cannot let people think that we are receiving help or a blizzard like conditions on the COM warm day, the safety issues are huge here I can tell you from experience as someone who tracks and works with the National Weather Service with severe weather, the issues here are huge and big glaring read I issues, they need to be fixed and dealt with before anyone else even touches this application, take it from someone who knows what hell and snow and Highwinds will do for me first hand experience. You dont want your next-door neighbor whos using Weathermob to go and look down through your reports to see a giant tornado is moving through the area and they look out the window and they dont see anything, they go get their family all set up in a tornado shelter because of this, and they wonder why two days later they never saw a tornado. So then they go and they contact you and say I saw your Weathermob post so I got my family all squared away, why did I not see a giant tornado? Now youre going to have to tell your next-door neighbor oh Im sorry whether mom posted that by itself. This app has a great concept but there are way too many issues with it. I am once and demand these issues to be fixed before I recommend it to anyone in my line of work with the National Weather Service, this app is it disgrace to whether community done right, if you want whether crowdsourcing done right look at weather underground. Im sorry to have to be so glaring and demanding and harsh on this application, the concept is fantastic, the implementation is a disaster, and someone who works with severe weather I cannot let something like this go on challenged. To the developers, you say you want millions of people to use your application, I dont want to single person to use your application until you get these issues fixed, if you get a large network of people looking at your application and using it theyre going to rely on it, you dont want someone to rely on your application with all these issues as mentioned above. That would be a disaster for everyone.

Great idea/UI, location problems & crashing!

It always seems to get my zip code and city wrong (most of the time), and "find friends" search / twitter search crashes it.

Loved it... Until I tried to login

Downloaded this app because it looked awesome. Unfortunately I didnt even get to use it. I tried to login with Facebook and failed due to server issues. Then I tried to create an account from scratch; failed due to server issues. Over and over I tried and then gave up. First impression makes a big difference guys.

BEST WEATHER APP YET!

The app is chic, inviting, and just plain wonderful! I cant get enough!!!

4.5 stars, location a bit off

Awesome app for seeing what the weather around the country and the world is first hand. The design is beautiful, too. Only complaint is that the location tagging is often a bit off, especially names of towns. For example, the app often thinks that Im in "Starr Farm Beach, VT" when I report from the new north end of Burlington, VT. Same for Waitsfield and Waterbury, VT, both of which have "off" location names. It gets the ZIP code right, just not the name.

Location issue

The app has huge problems finding my location and holding it from use to use. The app pulls up locations 40 miles away as my location. Makes it very difficult to make reports.

Great weather!

This is a great app to get people interested in the seemingly dull, most common conversation starter-- the weather. It makes the weather fun and exciting. You see so many reports come in when there is a snow storm and it is really cool!

Great concept, mediocre execution.

I REALLY love the idea behind this app, but there are a lot of bugs to work out (such as getting my location correct - or even in the right state). Im going to hang onto it and hope for some updates soon since it is really new.

Brilliant idea, great design.

The Waze of Weather.

Love it!

Love the idea, but it says that Im actually 30 miles from my actual location, I would understand if the nearest major city was 30 miles away, but Orlando is only 5 miles away, and it says Im in one of the smallest towns in Florida? A fix would be great!

Fun and interesting!

I was introduced to this app at the Altitude Summit in SLC last week. Lots of fun seeing everyones weather pics! Fabulous idea :-)
